Compare the same scope
A door-only basket and an installed kitchen makeover are different purchases. Compare the number and dimensions of fronts, materials, matching panels and trims, hinges, handles, delivery, removal, survey and labour. VAT and other compulsory charges should be clear.
The details that change the quote
Large fronts, custom dimensions, grain direction, integrated appliances, unusual hinges and extra panels can change manufacture and fitting requirements. Worktops may add templating, joints, plumbing or specialist installation. Ask for these to be itemised.
A useful budget guide
At launch we will use confirmed supplier and fitter rates to prepare an indicative guide. Until those rates are agreed, we do not advertise an unsupported starting price or a universal saving against a new kitchen. Your final quotation should name the responsible trader and included work.
Check the aftercare
Ask who pays for delivery damage, a supplier error, a measurement error or a return fitting visit. A product warranty may cover a replacement component while excluding labour. The seller’s statutory responsibilities continue alongside any manufacturer cover.
